Dow's Pharmacy
Step back in time at one of Australia’s few historically authentic pharmacies, in continuous operation from 1859 to 1969. The current building, dating to 1868, houses original fixtures, equipment, and stock from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Notably, it was run by Hilda Dow for much of the 20th century, with her husband John joining after earning his pharmacy degree in 1936. Now preserved as a museum, it offers a rare glimpse into the commercial and medical history of rural Australia.
